Policy
We sell only at wholesale net prices. All purchasers represent to us that they are purchasing for resale only. If, under any law now or hereafter passed, the seller is required to pay a tax on sales or an excise tax, the amount of these taxes will be added to the invoice value.
We shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage resulting from delay in filling orders caused by fire, floods, strikes, differences with workmen, government regulations, accidents, transportation delays, or other causes. All errors and omissions subject to corrections.
Quality
Our factories are leaders in their field, making fine quality hardware products.
Packing & minimum sales units
You may order any quantity of any item you desire in case lot or less than case lot quantities.
Orders
We reserve the right to automatically cancel any items that we have discontinued. If we are currently out of a product, we will substitute a product that is equal unless the order states No Substitutions. If the product we substitute has a higher value than the item ordered, we will still ship and bill at the price of the item you ordered. When ordering, please use the item numbers listed in our catalog, as it will speed up the shipment of your order and will help eliminate errors on our part.
Claims & Damages
All claims and shortages must be reported to us within five days after the receipt of the merchandise. If goods are damaged in transit, claims must be made directly with the carrier. Claims, shortages, and damages made after five days of receipt of goods will not be honored. Before reporting shortages, please see if item was charged for on invoice as it may have been back ordered or canceled. Discontinued, obsolete or closeout merchandise not returnable.
Prices
Our prices offer you substantial savings. They are subject to change without notice. New Accounts, if not rated in Dunn & Bradstreet, send four (4) trade references, or shipment will be made C.O.D. Shipments made C.O.D. will include C.O.D. fees, if any (including complete name and address, employers name, address and bank).
Back Orders
We will automatically ship back ordered items within 120 days of the invoice. We will contact you by phone or mail for your authorization to ship any back orders older than 120 days. If you want your back order canceled, please advise us by mail or phone (800) 523-9956.
If you do not accept any back order, please state this on your purchase order form or mention it when placing your order by phone. If you do not cancel your back order and we ship it to you in accordance with our policy, then any returned shipment or return of back ordered merchandise will be at your expense and subject to a restocking charge of 15%. Terms
There is a 1% discount for payment in 10 days, net 30 days Accounts unpaid at expiration of 60 days from date of invoice will be subject to a late charge of 1-1/2% per month on the total balance due.
On any invoices that are past 90 days from date of invoice, buyer authorizes seller to confess judgment without protest by them in any court for the full amount of money owed, plus interest at the rate of 1-1/2% per month, plus all legal and collection costs incurred. In the event that any of these transactions that are turned in for collection were shipped prepaid, buyer authorizes seller to add such freight costs to their claim.
On orders having a net invoice value less than $50, excluding U.P.S. or shipping charges, a $10 service charge will be added. On orders totaling more than $50 net invoice value, but less than $100 total, a $5 service charge will be added.
There will be a $25.00 charge for furnishing a proof of delivery receipt. This charge will be canceled if delivery was not made. There will be a $25.00 charge for all returned checks.
Returns
No goods will be accepted for exchange or credit without our prior authority and routing instructions. Any defective products will be carefully examined. If found defective, it will be replaced no charge. If product is misused or abused, such merchandise will be returned to you without adjustment. Any regular new merchandise returned to us where we are not at fault will be subject to a handling restocking charge of 25%. Specially ordered, discontinued,
obsolete or closeout merchandise are not returnable. No regular merchandise is returnable after 30 days. Any locking device must be accompanied by at least one key. All parts of any defective product must be returned in order to receive credit. |

Guarantee
Every TACO product has been carefully manufactured and is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship or material. TACOs liability under all guarantees, expressed or implied, shall be limited to replacement of defective goods only. This is the only guarantee that TACO makes. No other guarantee or liability is authorized.
